very good
The Samsung 970 Evo Plus stamped new best values in the tests in the tests: When copying data, it managed very high tempo values, the permanent transfer rates were also at a very high level. On top of that, the access times are very low and the number of maximum read and write operations for the best possible program acceleration is very high.

Samsung 970 Evo Plus: This is new Really fast! High program acceleration Samsung 970 Evo Plus in the test: Conclusion
The work pace of a computer no longer determines processor, memory and graphics card. The quality of the memory, on the Windows, programs and data stores, contributes significantly to the working speed. For example, a slow hard disk is in the computer, brakes the other components such as the processor or graphics chip. Faster are SSDs - that's no longer a secret. Especially copies in plug-in card format M.2 with rapid PCI Express 3.0 connection of the version X4 like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus promise a true temporary rush. Computer image had the M.2 SSD in the test.

Complete list: The best M.2 SSDs (NVME PCIE 3.0 X4)
Samsung 970 Evo Plus: This is new
At the 970 EVO Plus, Samsung's latest storage technology is used. The memory blocks of the Samsung V-NAND 3BIT MLC type consist of 96 layers, 32 more than in its predecessor. As a result, the individual memory cells are even closer together. Desired side effect: The memory chips are smaller, the switching goes shorten, the tempo increases. The delay-free data exchange should also rule the Samsung Phoenix Controller, which may cause data for a short time in a 512 megabyte (Samsung 970 EVO plus 250 and 500 gigabytes) or 1,024 megabytes (Samsung Evo plus 1 terabyte) large buffer of the fast type LPDDR4 as needed.
Really fast!
That's the theory. But what about the practice? The average momentum when copying data such as videos and music was in the test at stately 1,059 megabytes per second, while writing it was 1,129 megabytes per second. The EVO PLUS was so fast as no other M.2-SSD - compared to the predecessor Samsung 970 Evo, but the marginal tempoving parts of 4 percent reading and 2 percent when writing. The differences in the measurement of the permanent transfer rate: While the value when reading data with 3,409 megabytes per second was exactly at the level of the old EVO, it was less than 23 percent higher when writing with 3.212 megabytes per second (EVO: 2,467 megabyte pro Second).
High program acceleration
Also important: a high number of read and write (IOPS). This is important, for example, for a quick starting of operating systems and programs. And even in these checkpoints, the 970 Evo Plus was about as fast as the predecessor. In the test laboratory, they scored 61,709 IOPs reading data while writing were 172,390 IOPs (predecessor 970 Evo without plus: 182.067 / 171.955 IOPs).
