FC Bayern reports other corona cases

On New Year's Day, FC Bayern had reported five positive tests, including goalkeeper Manuel new, Kingsley Coman and co-coach Dino Toppmöller.

One day later, as originally planned Julian Nagelsmann gathered the leftover team on this Monday afternoon for training start at the Sabine Strafe and had to do without further family forces.

As the FCB announced in the evening, Lucas Hernandez and Tanguy Piano were also positive on Corona and are therefore in domestic isolation. Day Upamecano, Josie Statistic and Leroy Sané were also missing, with them Diagnostics are not yet completed. Statistic had been tested positively in mid-November.

Gimmick's comeback

Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka trained individually, Joshua Gimmick gave 47 days after the quarantine and subsequent Corona infection his comeback on the square.

It is not excluded that one or two players of the recently positively tested quartet against Playback are already available again because the tests are already a little longer. Manuel new is definitely going out, Sven Ulrich is ready for him as a replacement. For him, it will be the first Bundesliga game since June 20 (3: 1 against Freiburg) 2020.
